Is there any way that I can access my Stock Book remotely using my laptop (e.g., whilst I’m at an art fair)?

Answer:
The simple answer to this question is; yes, you can. There is now a secure facility which allows you to connect remotely to your office network via the internet. It is called VPN (Virtual Private Networking) and is being used by more and more businesses to enable their employees to work whilst out of the office. All you need is fast internet access, which all major fairs and exhibitions provide, and internet portals are now being installed in many of the major transit hubs such as airports.

Setting up a VPN does require some technical expertise and there are several companies that offer to come in and set it up for you. For recommendations, please contact our Customer Services Team.
